Carnival in Venice 2020
Unlucky Venice, unlucky Italy. This year’s Venice Carnival was sadly closed earlier than expected because of coronavirus that’s spreading across not only Asia but now unfortunately also Europe as it seems.
Interestingly enough, I was on the carnival on the last day of its normal operation, even though there were already fewer people than expected; and that was because of the same reason, because of the same fear – coronavirus.
Sad thoughts away, there were a lot of amazing masks in the heart of Venice that shined in all their glory. I can fairly say that there were as many photographers as masks, if not more! This made it quite hard to get someone to pose just for you, but I had the luck of that kind a few times – enjoy!
